About EasyTouch U-100 Insulin Syringes
EasyTouch U-100 insulin syringes have a fixed needle and come 100 sterile, single-use syringes to a box. They are made by MHC Medical Products and are marked for U-100 insulin only. Use the chart below to match the item number, gauge, barrel size and needle length you already use.
How to choose an insulin syringe
Barrel size: pick the smallest barrel that holds your largest single dose. A 0.3 cc syringe holds up to 30 units, 0.5 cc up to 50 units and 1 cc up to 100 units. Smaller barrels have wider spacing between unit marks, so small doses are easier to read.
Gauge: a higher gauge number means a thinner needle. In this range 31G is the thinnest and 27G the thickest.
Needle length: EasyTouch insulin syringes come in 5/16" (8 mm), 1/2" (12.7 mm) and 5/8" (16 mm). Your healthcare provider can tell you which length and gauge are right for you.
